Transportation:
Navigo Card
Easily access all of Paris through the efficient public transportation system, which includes the Metro, RER, Buses, Trams, and SNCF Overground Trains. You can conveniently use the Navigo card, which offers different pricing options based on the period and zone. During my trip, I opted for the one-week package, covering zones 1-5, allowing me to explore the entirety of Paris for just 22€. It was definitely worth it!

It's free to enter the tower's garden, where you can admire the base of the tower up close. If you wish to ascend to the top, the ticket price is approximately 12€.

Last but not least, I have a few essential tips to share with you for your visit to Paris. Take note of the following:

1) Stay vigilant against pickpockets and scammers:
Beware of cunning pickpockets who often work in groups, using diversion tactics such as asking for directions or train stops while their accomplices discreetly search your bags for valuables. Stay focused and ignore unfamiliar individuals to protect your belongings.

Additionally, be cautious of scammers who approach you with the intention of showcasing something extraordinary, like making a bracelet on your wrist. They may then demand a minimum payment of 5€ or more. It's best to avoid engaging with these seemingly friendly individuals. Such incidents are more likely to occur in popular tourist areas like the Eiffel Tower, Sacré-Cœur, and others.

2) Protests in Paris:
Since November 2018, regular protests known as the Yellow Vest movement have taken place on Saturdays, often traversing iconic locations like the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, and Louvre Museum. This can result in certain metro stations being closed or affected by the demonstrations. Therefore, it is advisable to avoid traveling on Saturdays or to keep yourself updated with the latest news regarding ongoing protests.

By staying alert and informed, you can ensure a safe and enjoyable visit to the magnificent city of Paris.

Special notes for Muslim travelers:

It's important to note that finding dedicated prayer places in Paris can be challenging. However, with a little preparation, you can still fulfill your prayer obligations. My advice is to ensure you have performed wudu' (ablution) beforehand. When it's time for prayer, try to find a secluded spot away from crowds where you can pray without drawing too much attention. It is advisable to perform your prayer in a sitting position to avoid attracting unnecessary attention, especially from security personnel.
Getting caught praying in public may lead to potential complications, so it's best to exercise caution.

By being mindful of these considerations, you can observe your prayers while respecting the local norms and ensuring a smooth travel experience in Paris.

To wrap it up, as I bid farewell to the enchanting city of Paris, I must say that it truly lives up to its reputation as a stunning modern metropolis that is definitely worth visiting. Personally, I would rate my experience a solid 9 out of 10. And to all those who have accompanied me on this journey of words, I extend my heartfelt gratitude—merci! :)
